Baby Blue Eyes at Hitachi Seaside Park!

I just can’t hold myself from posting the pictures from my last weekend trip to Hitachi Seaside Park!

After my previous visit during autumn to enjoy the overwhelming view of the Kochia, spring is the time for the baby blue eyes, the Nemophila! It was one spontaneous decision, because in the beginning I was planning to go during weekdays to avoid the crowd. But few things came up that week, leaving me with no choice except the weekend. This time I decided to drive all the way from Kanagawa Prefecture (where I live now), passing through Tokyo, Saitama, and Chiba prefectures before finally arriving at Ibaraki!

Well, you can of course easily access this park using both the-cheap-but-slower or the-more-expensive-express trains departing from Ueno station to Katsuta station and change to Ibaraki Kotsu bus to reach the park entrance.

The express train (e.g. Hitachi or Tokiwa) from Ueno station will cost you about 3,800 JPY (one-way) for an approximately 70 minutes trip to Katsuta-station, while the local JR Joban line will take you there within 2.5 hours for about 2,300 JPY. The admission fee for the park itself is 410 JPY for adults.

Anyway, hope you’ll enjoy my pics 🙂 Will put some more pics on my Flick page later!

For me it feels like watching a blue screen, with people on it 😀

It was half an hour before the park’s closing time, and there are still this many people, including me and friends 😀

Did I tell you that the park is not only about the Nemophila? And these tulips are just few of other spots that you can enjoy in Hitachi Seaside Park!

  2. Tadinya pengen kesini, tapi setelah peritungan secara cermat, kok ya aq mabok uang yah.. 😂
Harga tiket expressnya PP gak nahan. Hehehe…

    Btw, nice picts, mbak!

    • Tengkyu, Vikaa.. Objeknya emang cakep nih!
Huuu, ongkosnya emang bikin keder yaaa…

What do you think?
